I'm back, you guys!
Boy, they say I was out cold for over a year. The last thing I remember before it all turned black was singing in the forest with my skunk and squirrel friends, when, all of a sudden, lightning struck the exact spot I was sitting! This high-voltage rod instantaneously transported me to a parallel universe where blogging was punishable by death. Thus, I was out of touch with you all here, in this universe.
So, you see, I cannot be blamed for my absence from this corner of the web-o-sphere. I know you've missed me, my sweet fans. Fret not - I have missed you, as well!
Actually, that's not what happened at all. I just have a problem with lying.
In keeping with my usual habit of having cool ideas and then forgetting about them like the senile old lady that I am, I unceremoniously laid this blog to rest. However, I randomly decided to reread this blob today and remembered how fun it had actually been to pitter-patter on my keyboard like I knew what I was doing! It was after this sentimental moment that I resolved to pick this back up.
I should probably briefly update you on the went-ons/goings-on in my life. I shall do this now, in list form:
Anyway, this was just a post to inform you that I'm still alive and kickin'. You can't get rid of me, no matter how hard you try!

- spent Thanksgiving '12 with my friend and her family in New Jersey (aww yeeeaaah, this cool cat got to see the wonder that is NYC!)
- saw Sigur Rós play in Dallas last April
- after 7 years, finally boarded a plane to Jordan to see my family
- during said trip to Jordan, had the chance to go to Petra, Wadi Rum, and Aqaba - and YES, I HAPPILY TOOK THAT CHANCE
- started university this past fall (she that you hold near and dear to your heart is majoring in civil engineering)
- turned a whopping 20 years old
- casually made all A's my first term of higher educationz
Anyway, this was just a post to inform you that I'm still alive and kickin'. You can't get rid of me, no matter how hard you try!
